Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi at'amani hadha wa razaqaneehi min ghayri hawlin minni wa la quwwah

All praise is due to Allah who has fed me this and provided it for me without any might or power on my part.

All praise is due to Allah who gave us life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.

In the name of Allah, all praise is due to Allah, glory be to Him who has subjected this to us.

In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no power and no strength except with Allah.

Bismillah (3x). A'udhu billahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhadhiru (7x)

In the name of Allah (3 times). I seek refuge in Allah and in His power from the evil of what I find and what I fear (7 times). Recite while placing the hand on the place of pain.

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ سَاجِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ، صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ

La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer. Ayibuna ta'ibuna 'abiduna sajiduna li-Rabbina hamidun. Sadaqallahu wa'dahu wa nasara 'abdahu wa hazamal-ahzaba wahdah

There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him is praise, and He is over all things competent. We are those who return, repent, worship, prostrate, and praise our Lord. Allah has kept up His promise, made His servant victorious, and defeated all the confederates alone.

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي ۝ وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي ۝ وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي ۝ يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي

Rabbi-shrah lee sadree, wa yassir lee amree, wahlul 'uqdatam min lisaanee, yafqahoo qawlee

My Lord, expand for me my breast, and ease for me my task, and untie the knot from my tongue, that they may understand my speech.

Allahumma 'afini fi badani, Allahumma 'afini fi sam'i, Allahumma 'afini fi basari, la ilaha illa anta. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-kufri wal-faqr, Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'adhabil-qabr, la ilaha illa anta

O Allah, grant me well-being in my body. O Allah, grant me well-being in my hearing. O Allah, grant me well-being in my sight. There is no god but You. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave. There is no god but You.

ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

Dhahabaz-zama'u wabtallatil-'uruqu wa thabatal-ajru in sha Allah

The thirst has gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ، اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

Allahumma Rabban-nas, adh-hibil ba's, ishfi antash-shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uk, shifa'an la yughadiru saqama

O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the suffering. Heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing — a healing that leaves no illness behind.

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي، وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. Allahumma ajurni fi musibati, wa akhlif lee khayran minha

Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. O Allah, reward me in my calamity and give me something better than it in exchange.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي، اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِي وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي

Allahumma inni as'alukal-'afiyata fid-dunya wal-akhirah. Allahumma inni as'alukal-'afwa wal-'afiyata fi deeni wa dunyaya wa ahli wa mali. Allahummastur 'awrati wa amin raw'ati. Allahummahfazni min bayni yadayya wa min khalfi wa 'an yameeni wa 'an shimali wa min fawqi, wa a'udhu bi 'azamatika an ughtala min tahti

O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family and my property. O Allah, conceal my faults and keep me safe from the things which I fear. O Allah, guard me from in front of me and behind me, on my right and on my left, and from above me; and I seek refuge in Your greatness from being struck down from beneath me.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, from the burden of debt and from being overpowered by men.

Allahumma inni amsaytu ush-hiduka wa ush-hidu hamalata 'arshika wa mala'ikataka wa jamee'a khalqika, annaka antallahu la ilaha illa anta wahdaka la sharika lak, wa anna Muhammadan 'abduka wa rasooluk

O Allah, I have entered the evening and I call You to witness, and I call the bearers of Your Throne, Your angels, and all Your creation to witness, that You are Allah, there is no god but You alone, You have no partner, and that Muhammad is Your servant and Messenger.

أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، اللَّهُمَّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَٰذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ هَٰذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهَا، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَسُوءِ الْكِبَرِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ

Amsayna wa amsal-mulku lillahi wal-hamdu lillah, la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer. Allahumma as'aluka khayra hadhihil-laylati wa a'udhu bika min sharri hadhihil-laylati wa sharri ma ba'daha. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-kasali wa su'il-kibar. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'adhabin fin-nari wa 'adhabin fil-qabr

We have entered the evening and at this very time the whole dominion belongs to Allah, and all praise is for Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him is praise, and He is over all things competent. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this night and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil that follows it. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the misery of old age. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire and the punishment of the grave.

Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent.

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ فِي سَفَرِنَا هَٰذَا الْبِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ، وَمِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تَرْضَىٰ، اللَّهُمَّ هَوِّنْ عَلَيْنَا سَفَرَنَا هَٰذَا وَاطْوِ عَنَّا بُعْدَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَالْخَلِيفَةُ فِي الْأَهْلِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثَاءِ السَّفَرِ وَكَآبَةِ الْمَنْظَرِ وَسُوءِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ فِي الْمَالِ وَالْأَهْلِ

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. Subhanal-ladhi sakh-khara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrineen, wa inna ila Rabbina lamunqaliboon. Allahumma inna nas'aluka fi safarina hadhal-birra wat-taqwa, wa minal-'amali ma tarda. Allahumma hawwin 'alayna safarana hadha watwi 'anna bu'dah. Allahumma antas-sahibu fis-safari wal-khaleefatu fil-ahl. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min wa'tha'is-safari wa ka'abatil-manzari wa su'il-munqalabi fil-mali wal-ahl

Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. Glory be to Him who has subjected this to us, and we could never have it (by our efforts); and surely to our Lord we shall return. O Allah, we ask You on this journey for righteousness, piety, and deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and fold up its distance. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Successor over the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of travel, gloomy sights, and an evil outcome with respect to my wealth and family.

Asbahna wa asbahal-mulku lillahi wal-hamdu lillah, la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer. Allahumma as'aluka khayra hadhal-yawmi wa a'udhu bika min sharri hadhal-yawmi wa sharri ma ba'dah. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-kasali wa su'il-kibar. Allahumma anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu, a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu, abu'u laka bi ni'matika 'alayya, wa abu'u laka bidhanbi, faghfir lee, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta

O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I abide by Your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favour upon me, and I acknowledge my sin. So forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ كَرِيمٌ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun karimun tuhibbul 'afwa fa'fu 'anni

O Allah, You are the Pardoner, the Generous, You love to pardon, so pardon me.

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ (ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ)، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ (ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ)، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ (أَرْبَعًا وَثَلَاثِينَ)

Subhanallah (33x), Alhamdu lillah (33x), Allahu Akbar (34x)

Glory be to Allah (33 times), all praise is due to Allah (33 times), Allah is the Greatest (34 times).

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer

There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him is praise, and He is over all things competent.

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan. (Practice: spit lightly to the left side 3 times, recite this refuge 3 times, then turn over to the other side from the side one was sleeping on.)
